Just turn up and let one of our regular players know – they’ll happily welcome you and explain everything. There will be no session today at King Edward VII school, our usual venue.

New Season starting next week – watch this space for times & venues

If you’re reading this post, you’re likely interested in where and when sessions start again this September. Unfortunately our venue is not available (at short notice) during September 2026 and we’re now booking alternative sessions on Tuesdays only elsewhere in the city. Once we have those sessions confirmed, we’ll post details here and on our club Whatsapp group chat.

Our new season is starting on Tueday, 2nd September, 2025 at 7pm and our regular weekly sessions are back on Tuesdays and Fridays, 7-10pm. View our new fees under the “Joining” tab – more details to follow shortly. Please be so kind to complete any outstanding payments for our summer sessions, thank you :-). If you’re interested in joining us, come down for a taster session during our club nights – it helps if you let us know prior via out contact page, but otherwise just turn up and talk to us. Likewise, if you are keen on playing for one of our teams, again, pop down and talk to us. We will soon start putting teams together, but newcomers are always welcome.

Unfortunately we received short notice that the badminton hall will be closed today, Tuesday, 15th July 2025! There will be no session today, but we expect to return next week.

Summer sessions are back!
Summer badminton starts this week on Tuesday, 24th June! The sessions will run from 8- 10pm every Tuesday throughout the summer. Well, we did “start” already last week, however the venue had not been cleared of exam tables yet. In other words, those who couldn’t come didn’t miss anything. There are no Friday sessions during summer.
End of Season
Hi Club Members and Guests, our season is ending this Tuesday, 29th April 2025 when we’ll have our final session at 7-10pm. There will be no sessions during May, but we will run a weekly summer badminton session from June onwards – we’ll post details once they are confirmed. Thank you for making our sessions such a lively and friendly experience and for competing in our teams. Soon more…:-)

End of summer sessions and start of new season
Hi All,
Our weekly Tuesday only summer club nights have now ended – many thanks to our club members and the many new faces who attended! As the school term doesn’t start until Wednesday, 4th September, there will be no session on Tuesday, 3rd Sept. Our first session will be on Friday, 6th September, 7-10pm and then again regularly on Tuesdays and Fridays, 7-10pm. We will post pricing updates for seasonal membership fees once they’re ratified by the committee. Note that from next week we’ll be returning to our normal annual membership plans (with “taster sessions”), instead of the “pay-as-you-go” approach over the summer.
